Eye Candy can make a girl feel better

Lately I have misplaced my writing mojo.  I don't know where it went.  I had it last week, I swear.

But this week, nada.

I have looked everywhere for it.  But inspiration has deserted me.

So I find myself getting lost in the later episodes of JAG because, well,  David James Elliot, need I say more?  And sighing.  A lot.  I forgot how freaking well he filled out that Navy uniform.  Makes a girl miss the old days that's for sure.

No, I still haven't found the missing mojo-YET-but I have high hopes.

So in the meantime I will finish this series out and move on to the first episodes of NCIS because, well, Mark Harmon of course.

But make sure you check out Karla's next installment of F&G and pray that a little divine inspiration strikes me.  And soon.

What do you do to get your creative juices flowing again, when it seems the well has run dry?

i'm in a drought as well. i'm hoping it's because i've got moving on the brain, but really, i haven't written in a couple weeks and that thought, disturbingly, doesn't bother me. i hope this doesn't last long. it's making me nervous.

Read. but not just anything...read in the genre that you are currently working on...if it's YA, what type of YA? for contemp YA I highly reccommend anything by Sarah Dessen or Elizabeth Scott..or OR! INVINCIBLE SUMMER by Hannah Moskowitz...for literary YA, LHA is the indisputable queen...WINTERGILRS is my fave...and SPEAK of course, but everyone and their mothers has read that...for historical, BETWEEN SHADES OF GRAY by Ruta Sepetus...for boy MC, John Green is always good...also, VIOLENCE 101 by Denis Wright

oh, and of course, music. SEETHER is my muse...so pick someone else. i don't share well ;)

and then, if both those fail to kickstart your writing, i find that marathoning channels like Discovery, NatGEO, and The History Channel bring about inspiration...don't ask me how, but it works.

Nice eye candy. :)

When I'm feeling uninspired I read. Since reading a lot is essential to being a good writer, I can even tell myself I'm "working on" my writing. ;)

How to make a girl like you said...

Getting a girl to like you can be so difficult but, if you know exactly what to do then you’ll be able to get all most any girl.
Its important to note that confident is the most important tool you can have in this skill. Even though i know the process to do, if i have no confidence then it make no sense, so you will of to work on your confidence.
