This week has been God awful for inspiration. Thankfully tomorrow we will be back with a book hungry review. It was supposed to happen last week, but there was some confusion about getting it done. But were definitely scheduled for Thursday of this week.
In the meantime I just started weight watchers and I am cranky. Not because I can't eat. God knows you can eat your brains out on Weight Watchers. Just not the type of food I want to eat. So I guess I should be honest about that. Yes, I can have french fries from McDonalds's but just not everyday. Hello! I thought french fries were one of the four main food groups? How will I live without my fried potato fix?
I know, I know, I will get used to it.
In the mean time I am trying to convince myself that veggies are good for me and I really do love them.
Pray for me.

ReplyDeletegood luck with weight watchers! i too am trying to eat more fruits and veggies because i don't get enough. i try to focus on the fact that i WANT to eat them because i need the vitamin C or better eye sight rather than the taste. hopefully, soon enough, i will actually want to eat them instead of a whole bag of potato chips.
Oh, man. I empathize. I've been trying to cut out junk food myself, and it royally sucks. What I wouldn't give to have the metabolism I had when I was a teenager!
ReplyDeleteAs difficult as vegan seems, after three weeks, I was totally over the cheese thing (me?! The cheeseaholic!). I've dropped 15 lbs. giving up cheese & meat & eggs. What I haven't given up? Chips, Cookies, Beer. Heck yes. Any diet that allows those three things are a-okay in my book. Vegan, baby!

I am also doing WW and having NO success with it. In fact, today is weigh-in day.
