It's all about the Candy

It's Friday and the sun is shining and the trees are swaying in the breeze.  The smell of, well I would like to say autumn is in the air, but its really more of a late summer smell.  Hey people, this is Florida.  Since today is Friday you know what that means.  So without further ado, here is my pick for another great twitterati/blogger/friend/crazy all around gal you should follow....Candace Ganger.  If you go to her blog you may find yourself under the impression that she does not have a face...well you would be wrong.  She does.  And here it is.

Okay so some of you are already acquainted with Candy?  Excellent.  My work here is done.  No, no, no I am just kidding.

Candy writes a blog called the "Misadventures in Candyland".  Now don't be misguided she does not give away candy.  I know I was sad about that too.  What she does do-and very well-is entertain us daily with her caustic wit and dry humor regarding the struggles and triumphs in her everyday life.  Not just with writing, although she hits on that too, we also get a very real glimpse into the life and loves of Candy.  (Yes she is married but she has a serious love/love/love relationship with Brady of New Medicine.

Candy is one of my favorite bloggers because she is not afraid to put her feelings, fears, friends, well everything out there for public consumption.  I am not brave enough to do that.  Yet.  But I hope to be more like, well not her, cuz between me and you she is a little crazy (nah, just kidding, sort of, well okay she is a little crazy but aren't we all?  Yeah, me neither.)  I am really trying to write like her here today.  Can you tell?  No?  Oh well.

One of the greatest things about Candy is her love for charity and the support she throws behind them.  She makes me want to do what I can do to help out in my own community.  I don't, but she makes me want to and that is the important thing.  Right now she is getting ready to walk for Out of the Darkness which helps support suicide prevention.  You can check them out here and support our girl on her walk too here.  Just type in her name and make your donation.  It is a worthy cause and if you have any questions you can catch up with Candy on twitter here and ask her.

In closing.  If you don't follow her blog, go and do so now.  It is totally worth it and if you don't follow her on twitter well you should do that too.   I should also mention that I hijacked the photos I have included in my posting today from Candy's blog without her express written permission.  So if I don't post on Monday it's because she has killed me for showing her face here.  But it was so worth it.

So tell me, which one of your tweeps should I follow today?

Thank you SO much for the post. I suppose I'll forgive you, but only because I LOVE you so much. Now, off to plan retaliation for showing my face...
